A few weeks ago the lovely people over at Rice Dream sent me a 1 litre carton of their organic rice milk to review for the blog.
Even though I’m not a vegan I’m a big fan of non-dairy milk simply because I prefer the taste on non-dairy alternatives as opposed to cows milk. I’ve been buying Rice Dream for a while and highly rate their range of products. It does have a much thinner consistency, making it much lighter and easier to digest than other non-dairy milk alternatives.
I’m a regular buyer of Rice Dream products already, so it felt a little strange to review it for the blog. However, it really is something that I enjoy using in my everyday diet so it was great to get an extra carton for me to enjoy. I’ve also tried the other flavours in the range with the Hazelnut and Almond and Vanilla being my favourites.
This range of non-dairy milk has a great nutritional profile and some of the plain and flavoured rice milks are packed with calcium and minerals. I’ve used them in smoothies, tea, on cereal and to make my oats. I also like them because they contain no added sugar and are widely available in supermarkets and health food stores, which can be quite unusual for specialist products.
As this months blog sponsors the very kind people at Rice Dream are giving away 1 carton of every 1 litre carton in the entire Rice Dream range. This includes 1 litre cartons of:
- Rice Dream Original with Calcium and Vitamins
- Rice Dream Original Organic
- Vanilla Organic
- Almond and Hazelnut
- Chocolate with Calcium and Vitamins
- Rice Dreamed Chilled with Calcium and Vitamins
The lucky winner is…
