My current favourites

It has been a while since I posted about my current favourite things and obviously these change form week to week.   Now with the changing seasons I thought it would be a nice idea to share some of my favourite things right now.

1. Books!

Spending my evenings reading rather watching TV spending my evenings on the laptop.  I love the escapism reading brings and at one point I was worried that my eyes were going to turn square with all of  the time they are spent looking at a computer screen, so reading an awesome book instead is great.  I love to read!

2. Baking.

The last couple of months has been super hectic for me and I haven’t had time bake at all which is one of my favourite things to do.  Yesterday I went and visited my lovely Nan and made her an apple and berry crumble to take along with me.  She really loved it and it just reminded me how much I enjoy baking.

3. Vintage prints.

I’m all mad about vintage right now since it’s the theme for my wedding and whilst doing my research I have come across so many lovely vintage prints, which I am definitely going to take some inspiration from and look for some pretty summer dresses.

4. Home workouts.

Since starting my job I have less time to go to the gym but I have come to realise that you can get a really effective work out in at home and I have been enjoying the 30 Day Shred, Blogilates and lots of yoga podcasts and Youtube videos in particular.

5. Spring!

This time of year makes me feel refreshed and has that sense of newness about it.  I love the idea of a good Spring clean and de-cluttering as I think it does wonders for the clearing the mind, hence I have planned a good de-clutter at the end of the month when I have a week off from work.

6. Pinterest.

I finally signed up to Pinterest and damn it’s addictive.  Thank you to everyone on Twitter who helped me register, I feel hours of procrastination coming on! :)

7. Berry Smoothies.

I just cannot get enough of these at the moment, although without a doubt I always love my smoothies.  I even made a berry soft serve for breakfast on Tuesday morning- it was gorgeous!

What are you currently loving at the moment?

I’m a fan of at-home workouts at the moment too, though I usually just do my own thing… I would love to do Jillian’s DVDs but I can’t find them anywhere!!

Love this post, it’s nice to reflect on the positive things that you’re enjoying :-)

I’m definitely loving books, home workouts – particularly my two Jillian Michaels DVDs, and the spring starting to creep in! I’m also loving the fact that in 3 weeks I’ll be going home for Easter – definitely planning on doing lots of baking and cooking!

Gorgeous spring picture – and gorgeous-looking crumble! I’m loving the extra daylight at the moment and the fact I don’t automatically shiver when I go outside :-)
