A GIVEAWAY for you DIY Goddess’

Hey loves!  I’m just dropping in to say “hello” and let you now about a little giveaway that I have for you!

It was great to see that many of you are all for getting your DIY groove on in the kitchen after yesterday’s post.    I think there is something special about making your own food where possible rather than buying it from the supermarket.

One of my favourite and easiest things to make at home is nut milks, but sometimes they do need a little bit of extra help to make them that little bit more creamy and for that I like to add a little bit of sunflower lecithin.

Sunflower lecithin is a natural emulsifier and is often used by chocolatiers to help stabilise the cacao to generate that “snap” when the chocolate is broken.

    Hi!!
    My favourite foods to “DIY” are nut-butters and juices!! Now that I have a good, strong blender, I love to make almond and cashew butters, and was actually thinking of making my own almond milk soon – it’s soooo expensive to buy!!

    I have seen that on ingredient lists before, but I didn’t realise you could buy it on it’s own. I like making nut milk- brazil nut milk is on my list, and also fudge balls.

    My favourite DIY foods? Buying raw salmon from Alaska and eating it raw. :D That’s so DIY, I know! Other than that? Second place is creating mashed cauliflower. Otherwise I order sushi ever night. Hehe! I hope to win this fab contest! :D
