Total 0% Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots Review and GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday guys! I have got something really special for you to welcome the weekend big style!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Total Greek Yoghurt to see if I wanted to try and review one of their latest products, being the new Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots. I’m a huge fan of their products and have previous reviewed a selection of yoghurts from their range before which you can read here.

I was sent a Mount Everest supply of the Raspberry and Pomegranate Split Pots to try out and a big tub of their 0% plain Greek Yoghurt. They all came nicely packaged in a lovely freezer bag that has the characters from their TV advertisement on the front- how cool is that!?

Normally I try and stay clear from dairy products because of my sinus problems (dairy products promote the formation of mucus) and opt for soy yoghurt instead, so this was a real treat for me!

The split pots make awesome portable breakfasts and on the go snacks. I loved them to make yoghurt messes with fresh fruit with the raspberry and pomegranate compote poured on top.

I even got a little experimental with the tub of 0% Greek yoghurt and blended it with some fresh mango and coconut milk to make my Mango and Coconut Frozen Yoghurt and it turned out amazingly well.

When I feel like treating myself I will definitely be looking to buy these again as I loved the flavour of the raspberry and pomegranate together. I would never have thought to put the two fruits together but it works and made a perfect summery combo!

The entire split pots in the range are made using the 0% fat variety which I think is great. The only downside to this split pot in particular is that the pomegranate and raspberry juice in the compote is from concentrate. However I guess you get a healthy balance with the 0% yoghurt and the sweet compote, so it’s all good!

    Oh my gosh, I’m the biggest Total fan girl! I love all their yoghurts, especially the 0% pots. They’re the perfect size and the nutrition stats are great. I often try other (cheaper) brands of greek yog in the hopes that they might be little kinder to my wallet, but I’ve yet to find anything as thick and tasty as Total so it’s totally worth paying a little extra for :)

    My favourite thing for a yoghurt mess is definitely banana, berries and almonds. I’ve been having this for breakfast every morning lately and it’s so good.

    I love total yogurt pots either for breakfast with homemade museli and fresh fruit or simply as an afternoon snack! :)

    I LOVE coconut flour mixed in to yog- it turns it incredibly thick and coconutty.
    Nut butters, ground flax and crumbled up homemade baked goods are my favourite things for yogurt messes.

    Oh my goodness yogurt messes are my favorite! I love to put in pumpkin, honey, flax, chia, mixed nuts, and a bit of almondmilk, then top the whole thing off with Galaxy Granola. I’m starving now:)

    Ahh! I love Fage! It just oozes “healthy”! But in a good way, not a gross way, seeing as how the word “oozes” is pretty gross-sounding! haha.

    I love mixing it with Fiber One cereal and putting raspberries and kiwis on top :) Crunch + sweet and sour.. what else could you ask for?

    I’ve previously been put off Total because of the price, but after trying it recently I don’t think I’ll be going back, it’s so much nicer than the cheaper brands!

    I love adding frozen berries, and pumpkin seeds :)

    I’m planning on having a berry yoghurt desert this evening – greek honey yoghurt with raspberries and strawberries! I do like it with a bit of crunch, think that might be because we used to have it with meringue when I was younger.

    Thank goodness for the new wordpress front page or I wouldn’t have seen this! Love Total 0% – best greek yoghurt out there. My favourite yoghurt mess is – raw oats, flaked almonds, blueberries or raspberries and a tiny splash of maple syrup or agave. Yum!! I am going to try out your frozen yoghurt recipe today :)

    I LOVE Total Greek Yogurt, it seems like the best brand we can find in the UK! My favourite things to put in a yogurt mess are granola, berries and honey roasted peanuts yum!
