It feels like so long ago that I did one of these posts. I’ve been so busy recently at work and with blogging as I have so many ideas for posts that it’s difficult to fit them all into one week. I feel so inspired right now and I just wish that there were more hours in the days to write all of these post that I have half started or written notes down for.
Well this week has been a pretty fun one for me as it started off with Alfie and I making a trip to John Lewis to go wedding gift list scanning.
We tried to do it all online, but we found it so difficult to decide on items without actually seeing them. I highly recommend actually going to the shops to do it and then you can edit online later. We got given this super cool scanner to go an scan whatever our heart desires, Kitchenaid mixer, Vitamix, Ipad3 anyone? Of course we are not expecting anyone to buy the really expensive stuff on the list, but we just thought that we would just try our luck just incase anyone is feeing extra generous. ![]()
After finishing off our gift list we looked around town for a while and ended up in TK Maxx. I have never checked out their fitness wear section before, but I did this time.
I picked up this great vest top for £7 by a brand called Kyodan and these cute capri pants for £12.99 by Calmia for yoga. I cannot seem to find a website specifically for Kyodan for some reason but there are some online stores that sell it. I wore these to Body Balance last night and both were so comfortable, I love them!
Packages in the post are great at the best of times, but I love them even more when they contain food! The very lovely Sarah sent me all of these goodies from across the pond. We were partnered up in my last Foodie Blog Swap and decided to do a little swap of our own.
Thank you Sarah! I love everything that you packed, especially your Caramel Apple Puppy Chow!
I got a lovely surprise when I went to check on my flowers in the garden this week:
My strawberries are starting to turn red!!! I cannot wait to pick my own strawberries as it must be very satisfying to know that you are eating homegrown produce.
This week I have been mad about the bargain fruit at my green grocers, especially the doughnut peaches, a punnet of 10 for 99p! Hell yes! I’ve been eating big bowls of fruit for breakfast, snacks and dessert all week.
Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries topped with my banana vanilla custard, almonds and PB Cheerios.
Pineapple, melon, raspberries and doughnut peaches with one of my Cherry and Oat Breakfast Muffins and peppermint tea.
A chopped apple with strawberries topped with dairy free ice cream and cinnamon and a fig biscuit.
I just cannot seem to get enough of bowls of fruity delicious lately!
It’s great finding new blogs to read and this week I discovered a great food blog Joy the Baker which has so many mouthwatering recipes to enjoy. I also stumbled upon a lovely wedding blog, So Your Getting Married, full of so many pretty things and inspiration for any brides-to-be out there, like me!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I will back tomorrow announcing the winner of my Total Greek Yoghurt giveaway- sorry it’s late!
What has been the highlight of your week?
Do you ever wish there were more hours in the day? I know I do, all day every day!
