in I Heart...

Ooooo Weeeeeee!  What a crazy month August has been.   It has has it’s ups and downs for me but it still has been a kick ass month non-the-less!

I’m so glad that September is hear.  I love this time of year when we are in between seasons.  The darker evenings are definitely a sure sign that autumn is on it’s way!

All set for my dress fitting!

One of the major highlights of August was when my wedding dress was released.  I had my fitting yesterday and it fits like a glove, no alterations needed, bar a minor bit off the length that needs taking off.  It was such a great feeling trying on my own dress and seeing the outfit with my shoes and accessories.  Now I cannot wait to wear it on the actual day, it really is a beautiful dress!

On another note, my thesis has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few weeks and it very close to being submitted.  I know I keep going on about it and you are probably all sick and tired of hearing about it, but it’s such a major part of my life right now.  You guys have been so incredibly supportive- THANK YOU!

Amongst the madness of this month I did manage to spend some quality time on myself and get highlights in my hair, still loving the colour!  Also, I treated to lots of makeup buys too.  Oh, you have know idea how great it felt to take some time out for myself even if it was just for short while.

August was definitely a month of food highlights including my Sesame, Lime and Basil Falafel, Peanut Brownie Batter Overnight Oats and my Seasonal Celebration Salad to name but a few.

Also on the blog this month I vlogged about my favourite sources of protein and my current strength routine.  Additionally my recent guest post on the AXA PPP health blog also went live.  Its all about the Setting Goals for Success.

My blog turns 2 in September and I’m really looking forward to see it how it unfolds and progresses in the future.  I have so many ideas for posts that there really isn’t enough hours in the day.  All in all I cannot see my life without blogging in the near future, right now I am loving it more each day and cannot remember what I was doing before.

Goals for September:

  • Confirm the plans for my hen do

  • Submit my thesis- I cannot wait for this day!

  • Get in to DIY wedding overdrive

  • Reign in my spending and budget more

  • Enjoy everything that autumn brings

I cannot wait to see what September has to bring.  There are some very exciting and very important changes happening in my life right now and I cannot wait to share it with you all.

For September I am very happy to welcome a new blog sponsor Popchips!  I’m in love with this companies products and I have a great giveaway in the pipeline for you.
