I can’t believe that we are at the end of what has been the best February ever! This month is usually a bit of a drag and not one of my favourite months of the year, but this one has been incredible.

The ultimate landmark of February was me passing my PhD viva. It has finally sunk in that I’ve managed to achieve that I thought was impossible. Thank you for all of your amazing support along this very tough journey, you are the best!

It’s been a pretty crazy month so I’ve been making sure that I make time to relax whenever I can. Lots of dark chocolate and red wine has been consumed, which I’m not complaining about. ![]()

I’ve also been spending lots of quality time with Alfie. He is the most supportive husband and always gives me encouragement to pursue my dreams. He treated me to a gorgeous meal to give me a break from all of the exam preparation.

Getting back in the gym has been great this month. I’m really having fun in the gym and enjoying my workouts.

Also, I’ve been getting crafty with up-cycling some furniture using Annie Sloan chalk paint. There are just a few things left to do before I share them on the blog.

Woah, what a month, March has a lot to live up to!
Goals for March
- Enjoy turning 27
- Finish the corrections on my thesis
- Continue to make more time for myself
- Have a major pamper session
- Just have fun!
To be honest I don’t really have many goals for March. I just want to have a good time and enjoy celebrating my birthday. There is an abundance of positivity around at the moment and I’ve just reveling in it.
