Bring some sunshine into a dull winter’s day with this vibrant and flavoursome mango, ginger and lime smoothie. Ready in seconds this will surely lift your mood and have you dreaming of sun-kissed beaches and clear blue skies. I love this creamy mango smoothie, packed with zing and heat from the ginger and lime juice to give me a boost.
Everyone is on a January healthy eating kick right now and looking to implement some healthier habits to help them feel their best. Something that I like to do when I’m feeling ‘meh’ after a period of feasting on treats is scale up the amount of fruit and dark leafy greens to take advantage of all that wholesome goodness, which is so good for your body. There is definitely a misconception that fuelling your body with more fruit and vegetables is boring. However, as this smoothie shows, nourishing food can vibrant, fun and delicious.
- 1 mango cheek
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/2 inch of fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 cups almond milk (or your milk of choice)
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- Pour all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
