Wish you a wonderful Monday! I finally got around to making a video blog…yay! It’s been almost a year since I last sat down and filmed one, but they’ve always been a favourite of mine. I guess life really got in the way for a while, and vlogs took a back seat for a while. I’m now committed to recording at least two every month and seeing where it takes me.
So, because this is my first vlog as part of my two-a-month commitment, I figured I’d start with a mini analysis of a new product that I was sent to test. Lizi’s Granola was good enough to give me some of their On the Go Granola. I’m still a huge fan of Lizi’s Granola, so I was thrilled to be asked to check these.
Let it be known that for me, granola is like crack; I adore it and am not afraid to say it. There have been instances when a package has failed to last for a week. When I buy myself a package, I have to lock it away to save myself from eating it. When it comes to products that I want to shop, there are a few that I avoid because they may be high in sugar and toxic nasties, but Lizi’s is one that I still return to – my favourite flavour is pecan and treacle.
Granola pouches from On the Go come in 47g packets, which ensures they’re well portioned for granola addicts like me. Belgian chocolate, treacle and pecan, and original are the three flavours available. About me, the treacle and pecan flavour didn’t last long.
One of my favourite granola combinations is almond milk and berries.
Lactose whole milk powder is mentioned among the ingredients, and it is essential to the making of these snack packs. The idea is to unlock the milk powder by adding water to the pouch. It is not appropriate to have your own cutlery since they come with a plastic spoon. As far as snacks go, I think these have a good list of ingredients and are sweetened with fructose, which might be a problem for others but is perfect in moderation for me. If you’re caught in a snack rut, they’re a perfect way to shake things up.
