One of the places that I spend a lot of time at home is at my desk. I love having my own workspace, a place that I can call mine. Having a dedicated workspace makes me far more productive as opposed to sitting on the sofa in front of the tv with my laptop. Another benefit of having my workspace is that my brain automatically knows that as soon as I sit at my desk it’s time to get stuff done and focus.
I’ve teamed up with Lions Home to put together some of my favourite things that would make up my dream workspace. If you didn’t know, I love online shopping and Lions Home have made it so easy because their product search allows users to see the products from a variety of shops at a glance and compare them. Without having to go to lots of different websites, I discovered so many desirables that would look perfect on my desk.
White is probably my favourite colour to decorate my home and this extends to home furnishings to. I think white looks so simple and elegant but can be livened up with a pop of colour, which is the approach that I’ve taken with my creative space. When working, I always like to burn a scented candle to help me get in the zone and Neom has some beautiful scents. Also, I love to add flashes of colour with brightly coloured accessories like a funky mug and stationery.
Have you got a dedicated workspace? What benefits have you noticed about having your own desk?
